Reborns

My reborns are painted with Genesis heat set paint over many days in very thin layers so the paint is permanent and does not wash off. I study many pictures of real babies in an attempt to achieve as realistic a skin tone as possible. They are finished off with a layer of Genesis heat set matt varnish to add texture and protection. My reborns are filled with micro fine glass granules, baby fat and top quality fibrefill. No sand is used in my babys so they are safe to send anywhere in the world.

When they are finished each baby has their own birth certificate with care instructions. They are fully dressed with a carefully chosen outfit, nappy, sometimes a blanket and modified pacifier, hat/headband shoes/socks and other such extras. Girls may have there own bracelet.

I put a lot of care into producing these dolls studying many photographs to ensure that each detail is just right. Each individual detail is added to enable me to create a realistic looking life-like baby. Reborn dolls are made with care and a lot of love, they need to be held with care just like a real baby and are therefore not suitable as play dolls for children.

I always obtain proof of posting for any items I post and I strive to post items the day after payment goes through. All reborns are posted either recorded delivery or special delivery so they are insured and need signing for.
